L.E. Wilson Stainless Steel Chamber Type Micrometer Seater Die?

For those who compete at long range.

I am kicking up my reloading game with a K&M Arbor Press with Standard Force Pack. I am thinking about ordering the Wilson micrometer seating die to go with it.

Looking for your opinion on this seater?

Thanks very much for your input.

I have a Sinclair/le wilson click seater. I like it a lot, I use it across several barrels/bullets combos and it makes adjustments fast and easy and repeatable. If you buy them when they are on sale they are decently priced. (They usually are on sale, but outrageous the couple days they aren't)

If you want to save money you don’t need the the micro top. Just seat a bullet long measure how much more you want to seat and screw the seater stem in that much more measured with calipers.

I sometimes load up test tubes with various powder charges I want to test. With brass primed and ready to load I use the Wilson micrometer seater and arbor press to test seating depth right at the range. I set micrometer seater at the zero mark to correspond to land touch. This saves a lot of back and forth during load testing.
