I’ll respectfully submit that this could be because of the barrel length answer given.

One could surmise that it is a standard blank length of 27” which gives a blank usable upto 26”.

We can all assume, but why not just answer the question asked??? Krieger, as well as other barrel suppliers sometimes offer “In Stock” barrels that are not always the same length as the advertised chart a above…
