Konus 20-60x80mm spotting scope

Has anyone tried one of these? Its on sale at creedmoor sports. Just wondering if they are half way decent considering they are import optics.

Konus is the best bang for the buck!

I have been using one for almost 15 years, no issues with the scope itself. The little tripod is not that great, I use a spotting scope stand, either Champions Choice or Champions Shooters Supply, can't remember.

For the dollars spent, it does the job for me.

They really are a great scope for the money. I used one for my first couple years shooting F class. I ended up selling it only because I wanted something with a long eye relief.

I have one that I'm using this year. The other day I was out and was using brown craft paper for a target, I could see .20 cal holes at 200 yards but 300 iffy(mirage was beginning 11 o'clock southern NM) beyond that no. I have some white paper on order for longer distances. I like the scope and have it on a heavier tripod. I also have a high end Bushnell but it is a straight eyepiece and hard to use shooting off my stool and shooting sticks,, great for bench work
