konus 20-60x100 spotting scope

Not specifically with that one. But I have Konus 20-60 x 80 and like it a lot. In good conditions (low mirage, primarily) I can see .223 holes in the white at 300 yards. In the black it's another matter, which is why I like white/orange targets better than white/black.

konus is the maker of several lines of scopes for various marketing companies.
the issue with the konus line in the past has been spotty quality.
as you move up the marketing line you typically see more quality, less issues.
i have a celestron 22-67 100 paid 309 from optics planet..i can see 30 cal and most 6, 6.5's at 1000 yds in an IBS target.
no black center but a light blue center and lines....
at some point the orange targets will be hard to see holes without ed glass...it adds better resolution to red....

the 100mm ed is somewhere around 600/700 from celestron..and is a very good scope for the money...

it all depends on lighting, bullet dia, distance...the 100 mmm lens is a help, but 100mm ed and better quaqlity is a bunch better...
