Kimber Pro Varmint

IF anyone at this site owns or has shot the ProVarmint I would love your opinions and experiences on this rifle.I was able to fondle one at Cabelas and it felt realy nice.Great triger and not overly heavy. For the price this thing better drive tacks like Michele Schumaker drives a Ferrari. The slightly less expensive was the 84m varminter. As always all your time and info are greatly apreciated.Of course we are talking Kimber.

I recently bought a used one in 17 HM2. One of the best shooting and favorite guns in the safe. Out to 100 yards small varmints are dead meat!

I have a pro varmint in 204. This gun will shoot under 1/2 5 shot groups consistently. I have had groups in the .2's
It is a nice light weight easy to carry varmint gun. It is a dream to carry verses my heavy guns and accurate enough to do anything I need it to.

I brought myself a Kimber Pro Varmint last week in .204 Ruger. My scope turned up today, it is a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16 x 40. Getting the scope fitted to the rifle tomorrow so that I can shoot it on Sunday. Going to run some Hornady 32gr V-max loads thru my rifle to run the barrel in and accumulate some brass. When I start reloading, I think I'll stick with the 39 Gr Sierra BK, I like its high B.C and respectible velocity of 3900 fps. Unless that is if someone can sway me away to something else.

I'll let you know how it goes after Sunday.

Cheers,

Michael.

I shoot the 39gr sierra's
I get right about 3700 fps with 27.5 gr of H4895, using wichester brass, and fedral small rifle match primers.
This is the load that has given me the best groups.
