This Kimber Of Oregon Model 82 Single-Shot Silhouette Rifle was part of the 1986 U.S. Army Contract (SN - GM002631 and is stamped "U.S." on the receiver. This gun is from a former firearms wholesale distributor and is believed to be unfired (surplus) and comes with original paperwork in sealed packaging. Does not include box.

SPECS: Smooth walnut target stock with inletted rail under the forearm, black rubber buttpad with (3) spacers, 25" bull barrel with recessed target crown, Kimber fully adjustable rear peep sight, front globe sight and mounted scope bases

Stock has a beautiful grain and pictures doesn't do the justice

Not new old stock, the lettering has been highlighted, stock finish added, and a barrel that has been recrowned, the original cmp guns are a matte finish on the stock and most people had them recrowned because the factory crown was usually not good.

Thanks for the info. I applied tru oil to bring the colors out but nothing was changed beyond that

I am going to change it as never fired to eliminate confusion
