KG 1 carbon remover

I noticed an unusual amount of buildup on the back of my bolt, so I soaked it in KG1 overnight.

After, it was easy to scrape it of with a brass tool.
I liked the shade of blue.

I have used, and still do, KG1 and KG12 (for copper). They work very well but I found Bore Tech C4 to be the best at removing carbon fouling with less work.
That said, my BCGs take a bath in the Hornady Hot Tube when they are really crude up.

Once cleaned-
Spray your bolt/f-pin/bcg to include inside the upper w/ Super Lube.

90% of the carbon will wipe away.

I use it to clean brass necks right after I shoot it that way I don't need tumble it as much. I use it down the barrel when it is still warm and it works real well, also if you happen to shoot a muzzle loader you have got to try KG-1! it is super fast and the best stuff we have ever tried.
