I have been shooting PRS regional matches for four years now, and I have finally save my pennies for a kestrel. Who has the best tutorial or instruction program/video, so that I can get the most out of my new equipment.

Which model Kestrel did you buy? If you have the 5700 Elite, there are some good podcasts by both Morgun King (Mythology of Marksmanship) and Chad Heckler/Francis Colon (Miles to Matches) on the topic.

Many issues are caused by data input at the setup step. Understanding those settings is important.

The phone is definitely your friend, particularly if you are using target card.

I enter the distances for all the stages in a PRS match in target card before the match starts. Before I learned about using my phone, I hand jammed a 20 stage match into target card using the Kestrel buttons. Took me over an hour. I can do the same thing in 15 minutes using my phone and write out my dope cards at the same time.
