I picked up my first F-Class custom rifle today from Kelbly's, and I just want to say that they're a first-class group of guys over there. Ian went out of his way to help me out.

If anyone is looking for gunsmithing, actions, custom rifles, etc., give these guys a call, you won't be disappointed!

They are a great bunch of guys for sure. For those of you that weren't at Raton last week Kelby's was the only vendor/manufacturer on site all week. They really go out of their way to support us F-Classers.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to take pics yet (still hiding it from the wife)...but it's a 6br, Atlas action, Kelbly trigger, Bartlein barrel, Mcgee f-class stock. I'm planning to shoot 600 yard F-open.

F class stocks are noticably different. My wife would pick up on it easily also. Good luck with that!

You need to use the "Oh, I've had that a long time." rule. Definition of long time: however long it's been in the back seat of my crew cab GMC before I snuck it into the basement, usually 1 to 7 hours....

Warning: this does not work as well if your wife is a shooter and can recognize the difference of a stainless Model 70 from the new BAT machine repeater with a Broughten stainless barrel Bob Green built for me. :
