Kelbly's Black Bear action

For a wide variety of reasons I'm a big fan of Kelbly's actions and I've got a Black Bear on the way. I was wondering if anyone reading this has built a rifle based on this action and could offer some thoughts, insights and suggestions as to the stock and bottom metal they are using?

My current plans are to build a versatile switch barrel rifle that I can shoot long and mid range F-Class and a variant of 200 yard benchrest/varmint for score that is shot prone at my local club. Possibly some XTC and use it as a hunting rifle with a light contour barrel. We all know that everything is a tradeoff in shooting and I realize that this *may* be a compromised product that is a jack-of-all-trades, but master of none. I'm willing to try it anyway.

My SA F-Class Pandas are chambered in 308, 30 BR, 284, 6.5X47L, and 6 Dasher using McMillan XIT stocks. I may chamber barrels in all of those cartridges for the Black Bear if I'm not careful. I realize that the Black Bear is a SA and if I'm shooting in F-class matches I will single load...I would love to point out to my friends and fellow competitors that it is a humble, practical repeater and "just" a hunting rifle. We'll see how that goes.

In addition to any information I gain here, I'll also touch base with Ian Kelbly for his thoughts.
