I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Kauger yesterday at SCI Convention in Nashville. Was rather impressed with the quality and the design ability to change out bolt face easily. Anyone have any experience with his action?

Thanks for the reply, don't know why I missed it. great thread and information. Definately going to consider Kauger in my next build

I tested my action, Kauger BR2 (700 foot print)- 30br VFS at a match came in 3rd, but the gun isn't complete yet. Just put it together and went to the match, much fine tunning needs to be done. Will be ready next month. I used a 1" sightron 2 - 36X scope which is about like a Weaver 36x, Should have much better optics and bedded action plus some better fit and finish, weight balance. And load development. The action is very slick, and fast, not loose, or over tight. the lugs lock up evenly. Just a shout out to Urbanrifleman, he is the one who recommended them, and I used one of his stocks as well.
