Loading some 9mm 147 gr Berrys round nose, titegroup 3.2. 3.4 3.6 had alot of room in the case, I added a little kapok filler, not alot just enough to keep the powder next to the primer
I made alot of subsonic 223s used kapok worked great never a miss fire sounds like a small fire cracker, when I made the 9mm seemed like it had too much room so I used a filler. Not alot of reading on fillers for 9mm is it safe? Everything is an opinion please

Titegroup was advertised to work well with lower charges in larger capacity cartridges. I would not use filler. I use 4.5-6 grs of TG in 44mag with 185 wc with good accuracy.

Things can change drastically with 9mm, the light loads will work great with out it. Don't take a chance.

Thanks I tossed them, used kapok filler for my 223s never a problem, but when I make the 9mm there's just not that much powder, because the 223 had alot of room needs a filler, had a couple of misfires until I used the filler never a problem. Thanks John

Bought 500 grams of kapok 13 dollars used it when I made and chronographed my ARs subsonic 223s. Started with 2.8 grams went to 5.2 grams titegroup from 900 fps to about 1100 fps kapok is awsome never had any misfires not using filler on any 9mm pressure problems.got the kapok at Walmart online got enough to last the rest of my life 500 grams is like a large pillow

Like others suggest here, I wouldn't use case filler for 9mm (or any pistol case for that matter).
For my brother with debilitating arthritis, I would load bunny fart 308 and 30-30 loads, using a 110gr bullet over 12gr of Unique or International. Recoil is like a 22.
I first started using Poly fill, then switched to kapok. I came across six old orange life preservers at a garage sale for $1 apiece, bought them all like a dumbarse. I'll never use more than 1/2 of a single one.
For quick filling of the case, I'd find a syringe that fit inside the .308 mouth, cut the nozzle end off. Then I'd stuff the syringe with kapok, , insert it into the case mouth and plunge the stuff into the case. Much faster than trying to tweezer or hand stuff the case.

With a 147 grain bullet stuffed into a 9mm case, doesn't seem like a whole lot of room left?

Titegroup is a fast, easy-to-ignite powder. No filler needed.

As an example, I load 3grains of TG in 38Special - you need to get directly above the case mouth to verify that a charge is in the case. With no filler, it ignites fine.
