Kahles K 10-50x56 Competition Scope???

Just wondering if anyone has uses this scope yet and how it stacks up to NightForce BR and Competition models?

The magnification is impressive at 10-50X. Then add in the 55 MOA and 31.4 oz weight and it'appears to be a real contender for long range shooting.

Any thoughts or experiences with it?

Kahles K1050 will easily outmatch NF Br line on Glass quality and is more than a match for NF competition , First Gen NF Competition was full of bugs that is why it was revamped . The only cons of Kahles K1050 over NF is weight Nf competiton is lighter and in case of any warranty issues Khales will have to be sent to Austria,Europe for the checkup.

From what I found, they seem to run about the same price as a NF Competition scope. That's why I was kinda wondering if they are worth it over the NF.

Most of the high end optic manufacturers make their dealers adhere to the strict pricing they set forth for them. That's why most everywhere you look, NF, Swarovski, Kowa, Leica, etc. will be pretty much the same price. Dealers really have no control over it if they want to continue to sell the manufacturer's product.

At the moment as the Euro Vs US $ rates are favorable for imports form Europe you could get K1050 for around $2100 shiped to US

Need to relay my experience. As for the Euro market, www.Optics-Trade.eu has them for 2499 EU which is roughly $2700US so that doesn't help but what and who will is www.SportOptics.com . If you speak to the owner Chris Wisecarver or his Associate Jay Wiggins you will not only get an unimaginable deal you can rest assured they only have your best intrests in mind. They should be getting their new stock of Kahles K1050 in 30 days which will include the new MOAK reticle and turrets with more travel per revolution. They could have easily sold me what I asked but instead felt obliged to give me the news and the option. A practice all companies should inherit and a testament to the integrity of www.SportOptics.com and Chris Wisecarver. My first S&B was purchased from them and recall the same attitude 5 years ago when I made the purchase. Since then I probably could have made more purchases from them but was lost in the world of wheeling and dealing and completely neglected to give them the opportunity until now. One things for sure, they will always be the first I call from now on for my optics and firearm needs.

Optic trade. eu price includes 22% VAT( most of EU has VAT in 15-25% range ) that is deducted for sales outside EU (you are then looking at cca 2000Euro (cca 2270$USD) and here and there you get a bargain or a disacount even bellow these prices.
