Thanks I just found it on there site. I use 21st century expanders with PMA neck turners .I’ve never used K&M .

Can't tell the diameters, but from the length/angle of the mandrel it may be their special mandrel to expand from 6mm to .30 cal in one step?

Loosen the screw at the top of the die and slide the expander out. The caliber/inside diameter would be printed on the expander.

This is weird. Just yesterday I did another "clean up" of the loading room. I found the same thing except I think mine says 6mm. I also couldn't remember what it was for.

In case you were wondering, the screw protruding out is a depth stop to keep you from crushing the case shoulder by running the neck into the mandrel holder at the top. I think you're missing the housing - that bit in the pic normally screws into a housing that threads into the press - the housing on mine has a window that allows you to see the brass as the mandrel goes in (which sounds kind of erotic, but isn't.)

Spot on, and the screw is optional in use. Here's a pic of the complete assembly for press mounting. I used this to make several hundred 30BR cases. I just adjusted the height of the holder in the housing so that the case rim would never touch. If you make that adjustment, the depth stop is superfluous. Good tool.
