Just what I need, another 223

Looked for a stock, Choate Tactical, for a project last week. None to be had and direct from Choate was out of line price wise. Looked here, no luck did a search on GB. Found a complete rifle with the stock I was after. Penny auction, bid was low so I put a bid in what the stock was worth to me. Actually just wanted to keep track and see what it would sell for. Danged if I didn’t get the thing!
Lol, now what to do with it. Already have a lineup of good 223 and most all things on 223 bolt face17’s and 20’s.
Bad thing am still a stock short for a Savage short action, lol.

So what is it and is it for sale?

Ot gonna sell. It’s a model 12 heavy barrel bottom bolt release. Saw a lot of complaints on the bottom bolt release, first one I ever had, works slick. Better than a couple of top releases I have.

I considered the Bravo, have four others on Remington foot print builds. Imho best bang for your $$$ around.

I may talk myself into a 223 AI.

I don't know what the brass quality is like but I'd take a look at the 22 Nosler. Has about the same case capacity as the 22BR which is quite a bit more then the 223AI and the 22 Nosler uses the same 223 bolt face.

A tight-neck .223 AI sounds interesting - given you have the Practical , .22 Nosler and straight .223's covered. Accuracy is always interesting.......
