Just got a Remington 700 CDL SF in 223 Help !

I just purchased a used Rem 700 CDL SF in 223 remington 24" bbl and can not find any info as to years made and info such as twist rate. I can tell you it is not the Aniversary model. Bought it from a Veteran that bought new and had it shipped to Germany where he was stationed. Has special stampings on bbl on flute on bottom just ahead of forearm "US 2008 DE ser # " for shipment overseas is what I was told by previous owner, Will that hurt the collector value ? just a couple of handling marks on stock . I know I got a great deal, $500 with Weaver Extreme 2.5x10-56 lighted reticle but would like to know did I find one in 223 that very few were made ? Thanks to all for reading.

Twist can be checked with a tight patch and pivoting cleaning rod. I'll be good info to have, but not required to be stamped.

A song dog is another name for coyote out west.
Okay.

I'm as west as one gets without being a logger, (Seattle) and I've never heard the term. It must be the far southwest. (Anywhere south of Tacoma.)

ENJOY IT
JAMMER SIX I CAN'T SEE THAT WELL DONT MEAN NOTHING BY IT WITCHHUNTER HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD.

Firearms bought in the US & shipped overseas to a duty station usually have to go to a dealer there who then "proof fires" it and puts the OK stamp on the rifle then the owner can receive it, does not hurt resale value.
The above depends on what country, but Germany requires that I know for sure since I shipped a rifle to my son there last year.
