Just found a new toy

Brand new unused, still in the box. Been looking for one for a while. 6mmBR barrel ordered, ready for next season, as we have just finished until October. My "old" BR, I have had reamed to 6BRX - the barrel is getting a bit past it - I still cleaned 700 yds a week ago, but then spent the last week cleaning it! So BRX - for experimental purposes, you understand.

Tag says hanger for Jewell trigger, hope you have one laying around !!!
I wish...but beggars can't be choosers...and I trust my smith to fix it! ( Hope he reads this...) The guy selling it, planning to build a rifle that never happened, suggested that a Trigger Tech fitted. I'm not sure whether he meant the pin spacing, which is likely to be generic Rem 700 or the actual trigger timing. I have a British Dolphin chassis vacant, it may go in there. Mind - I never managed to get a 308 to shoot well in it. Time will tell.

I love my Barnard S .223.
So do I. My FTR gun is an S, with 2 ports. I kinda fell out of love with it last year, but a new stock from Wood2Stock in the Netherlands and the "discovery" of 185 Bergers and 190 SMK and a new scope have got me back to it. Been shooting the 6BR in a P action all this season and playing with a Tikka actioned 6.5SLR on occasion,

My understanding is the guy that is making the new improved version is making it with a hanger to accept any 700 footprint trigger.
