Just Curious

Has anyone taken an old/burned out barrel and remachined it to a larger chamber & caliber to make it useful again? Is it even possible? Just curious.

He bought out Cliff LaBountys reboreing service.
Anyways he rebored it to a 10 twist 6mm and I left the chamber as it was and recut the neck to 6mm and it actually shoots better than the original.....
It is a little pricey but will give added life to a old favorite.......

interesting...

I was wondering if I could use my 22-250 barrel for something other than a 1" dia. SS tomato stake when it's toast.

It's going to be awhile, but it'll happen eventually.
