July ASC VFS Results

July was HOT HOT HOT!!!!! We had 18 shooters brave the near 100 degree temps to come shoot with us. The day started out very nice at just 81 degrees at 7:00 am with very little wind. It was a shooters paradise... Even at 9:00 when we started the wind was almost nothing. By the time the 3rd match came around, it was blowing just enough that you had to pay attention. If you didn't, you may still be in the mothball, but the dot would laugh at you since you missed it by a smidgen (yes... smidgen is an official length of measurement). By the end of the match, the temp was well into the triple digits, and you were praying for a 10 MPH wind.

Rich Hatler from North Texas Shooters once again showed us all how to hit the X... He showed us 22 times. He started off with 3 consecutive 50-5X targets. He ran away with it very early, and no one could catch up.

While Glenn Chism didn't place top 5, he did win the money shot and walked away with a little cash in his pocket.

It's only $10 to shoot ($5 for members).
Check in is at 7:30 (making it earlier since we have been having a full crowd)
We start shooting as close to 9:00 as possible.
