Johnstown, PA F Class?

I understand that there is a 500 yard F-Class match being held somewhere near Johnstown, PA. Anyone have any information?
Thank You!

Not sure about F class, but there is a 100, 300, 500 groundhog match about once a month at Southfork Rifle Club.

There are also 100,200, & 300 yd groundhog shoots at beaver valley rifle and pistol club www.bvrpc.org and 200,300,400, & 500 yard groundhog shoot at the lawrence co. club www.shootlcsa.com which may or may not be closer to you tha the south fork club.

We are also having a Pa State Champ Match on October 2, with plenty of prizes-check it out on the ReadeRange site. It is Benchrest 1000 yards Light Gun (17 lbs and under).

Thanks for the replies. I don't think the ones mentioned here are the one I heard about. If I can find out where it is, I will post the information here.

Reade Range is about 50 miles northeast of Johnstown. The web site is readerange.org. According to the schedule there will be 3 more F-Class Shoots Aug 28, Sept 25 and Oct 9. If there is a place they shoot F-Class nearer to Johnstown perhaps south I don't know of it but if you find out please post it.

Hi All: Been working out of town and didn't have a chance to reply. Thanks to everyone again for the responses. Yes, I do shoot at Reade Range when I can. Never shot a groundhog match but wouldn't mind trying one. Am I correct that to shoot at Southfork you need a Southfork membership as well as a VHA membership? As to the original post as to an F-Class match near Johnstown, I don't think the fellow that mentioned it was referring to any of the shoots that have been mentioned. My own fault for not questioning it at the time. When I see this guy again, I will find out. (Don't know the man but we are both members at another club)

I have been shooting at Southfork for about 8 years. You do not need a VHA membership to shoot in the groundhog matches. The only match you do need a VHA membership to shoot is the VHA regional match held at Southfork in June.
The biggest match of the year at Southfork is the 2-day championship groundhog match. This year it will be the 25-26 of September. A lot of nice prizes are given away at the match.
Good shooting.
Jack
