Johnny Ingram shoots his second F-TR 200-10X at 1000 yards

Yesterday 7/5/2015 at Bayou Rifles 1000 yard match Johnny Ingram shot his second 200-10X. His first one was at the Lapua Regional held in May, he was the lead shooter for the Bayou Rifles 4 man team and he set the pace with his first 200 at 1000 yards, with a F-TR rig. I know the open guys post a 200 now and then but to do it with a 308 is some fine shooting. Johnny is on the Bayou Rifle Team that shot the 791 to better the Sinclair Teams 790, since then Sinclair has shot a 792, I believe at the next outing for the Bayou team they will better that mark, time will tell. Back to Johnny, he has had a good year, he is the Texas State Long Range Champ for 2015 and has the club record for 1000 at Bayou Rifles. He has been shooting competitively for about a year now and he has come a long way in a short time. His rifle is made by Omar Alonzo in Pasadena, TX, Omar has built all 4 rifles for the Bayou Team and has the bulk of the best shooters at the club as customers. This has been a good month for Johnny he shot back to back 200's at the Mid-range match (600 yards) just the week before and Sunday the 5th he posted a 200-10 and a 199-10, we shoot a summer format of 2, 20 shot matches due to the heat. I wanted to make sure Johnny got his recognition because shooting a 200-10 at 1000 yards with a 308 is very very hard. I invite everyone to come out and shoot with us my money will be on Johnny. Johnny may have just got his Long Range High Master, I will be checking the past scores, I wanted to point out that Johnny has only shot long range at 1000, he has never shot the palma 800 and 900 so when he gets his High Master it will be the real deal, FT-R High Master all at 1000 yards and no F open scores mixed in. For the few F-TR shooters that have a pure 1000 yard High Master card, you know what it takes to shoot at that that level.
Congratulations Johnny you are the man.

You're right Don, its TOUGH to make HM at 1000 in FTR but from what i've seen this year shooting with all you guys is there will be several guys make it. You guys rifles/loads are hammers at 1000 and y'all are steering them straight. Just a matter of time, i'm enjoying the ride and hoping to get my card eventually as well. As for Johnny, he's been on fire and is shooting as well right now as anyone i've ever seen and definately deserves the HM card! Proud of you Johnny! The shooters at y'all club all have one goal and that's to shoot well and help everyone else there shoot well also. That's what i love about this sport, it's competitive but everyone i've shot with has always been very friendly and more than willing to give advice etc. I feel very lucky to be able to shoot Palo Alto and Bayou Club on a regular basis as those clubs have great guys that excel in this sport but are always willing to try and help you do the same.
