Any idea on the selling price at the time? I'm thinking I have 2 of these I recently came into. Find it very coincidental this thread came up as I only have had about 2 weeks. Any help appreciated.

They are NOT mine... but copies. They even used my hole pattern and magnets, but a different hinge. Some have no conscience...

I still have the first box I got from Joe (white), as well as a second one in black. It doesn't show dirt like the white one did. I think I got these in the early 2000's.

Been so many years . Good of you to chime in.. Yeah, the white ones got dirty. Good story coming...

At the SS way back then, there was a "good ole boy" from TX. loading outside the barn...along the west side, with his gang. I was there and saw his white box ( which was more than dirty) I took it into the men's room, applied some soap & warm water to it, and returned it to "Charlie ". ( After all... I couldn't t have one of my cartridge boxes looking like that ! They all roared with laughter. I feel confident he has told that story often . Pure fun...all of it. Yeah, the good ole' days. .I am grateful my memory won't allow me to forget any of it.

For sure Ken . I have to question myself though , as to the reasons behind my seemingly... never tiring mind . I refuse to believe it is due to the amount of Red Man I chew, or the 2 glasses of Canadien Blended Whiskey w/3 ice cubes each day !
