Another good guy has left the range. Joe Kubon, passed away Friday July 14. I was informed that Joe was recovering from a recent hernia surgery.
I met Joe many years ago at a Benchrest match. We would occasionally meet at the range to get in some practice time. Joe was a fun guy to be around. He will be missed.
A short memorial service will be held July,18 at 10:00AM at The Allen Funeral Home 508 Masters Ave. Wylie,Tx, 972-442-2234.

Joe was, up until a couple years ago, very active at our matches in Midland and Lubbock, I asked about him earlier in the month if anyone had heard anything about how he was. The last few time I shot with him, we helped him with flags and loading up his gear. I loaded in the same room with him for quite a few years and enjoyed his company and knowledge of the sport. He was a great gentlemen and is missed.
