jewelling a bolt

You will defiantly need a jig to hold the bolt in place while doing those little circles, and they are available from Brownells, and probably other places too.. They will also have the Cratex rods to do the circles...... A good drill press is a plus, don't even try it with a electric drill.....

+1 on the jig to hold the bolt. I use a small wire brush with an o-ring around the end with lapping compound chucked into a drill press instead of a cratex wheel. The jig will proberly index the bolt for a uniform and symmetrical finish.
