Jewell triggers...current status.

So it is the ball end part that is breaking off in the Jewell trigger? Just trying to figure out exactly which part is breaking. Never broken once myself.
Paul

This fell out of the trigger.

Bottom piece of part #13

Shilen makes a nice trigger at a competitive price ($200) that I’ve found is very good. The one I installed was equal to a Jewell in my opinion.
I have 2 of the Shilen triggers, one on a trued Rem 40X and the other on a Kelby Golden Bear. There is no bolt release on the trigger and the Golden Bear has one on the action. My gunsmith showed me a work around using a dime for the 40X that is quick and does the job.

This link shows which part broke: https://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/pierced-primer-broken-sear-common.4002957/page-2. It's the triangle piece.

Planning to have bolt bushed & firing pin diameter reduced.

I'd be happy to fix this myself if there is a source for parts.

Thanks all for your input.

If you were not able to locate the broken part for your jewell trigger would you be interested in selling it for parts ?
