As far as i know they are out of business and are not doing any trigger work. when my jewels break i expect to be replacing them.I have a jewell trigger that broke from a pierced primer. Is there a way to get these fixed these days? Are they out of business?
Any info appreciated.
Have you taken it apart.I have a jewell trigger that broke from a pierced primer. Is there a way to get these fixed these days? Are they out of business?

What primers are you using? Cartridge?I'm having the bolt bushed. If anyone knows of anyone with parts offering repair services let me know. I play to put this on a Rim-X if I can get it fixed.
The Rem 7 1/2 BR have been know to be a bit on the hard side like the CCI BR4. If you are using the Rem 6 1/2 don't! They are for the 22 Hornet class and are way too soft for a cartridge like yours.Dasher w/ Alpha brass & Rem SR benchrest primers. The primers are soft. It's not a hot load. Velocity & powder charge are 90% max. Consensus seems to be that having it bushed will likely prevent it from happening again.
Rem 700 action? I've got alot of 700 actions some bushed some not.Dasher w/ Alpha brass & Rem SR benchrest primers. The primers are soft. It's not a hot load. Velocity & powder charge are 90% max. Consensus seems to be that having it bushed will likely prevent it from happening again.
Could be possible that some powder residue from the blast made it inoperable. A disassembly is a good start.I have not. This is the 2nd time it happened. Last time Jewell fixed it. Why do you ask?
Probably the next one I buy will be Shilen.Shilen makes a nice trigger at a competitive price ($200) that I’ve found is very good. The one I installed was equal to a Jewell in my opinion.
DO the Shilen's go down to 2oz?Probably the next one I buy will be Shilen.
Never owned one.DO the Shilen's go down to 2oz?
Yes, maybe less.DO the Shilen's go down to 2oz?
