JEWELL TRIGGER ???????????

I feel dumber than a box of rocks. I looked at that page yesterday, maybe it was there, and maybe not. I keep my screen print large, so I didnt scroll down to where it was. Anyway, It sounds as though all is not lost, but I'm not going to spend anything in advance. LDS

When you have to depend on other people to be able to provide a product to sell,
and someone drops the ball it causes a train wreck for all concerned.
Talking w/the factory will only get an estimated down time, and that's just a guess.
The older I get, I find that time means nothing to anyone but me. When someone asks me when something will be available, all I can TRUTHFULLY say is, when I get it. If I make a time prediction it puts me in the middle, and the customer expects me to be correct, so I try to avoid going there. I hope this situation gets to be like a torpedo, RUNNING HOT, STRAIGHT AND NORMAL, because I want to be YOUR JEWELL TRIGGER DEALER. LDS

I just love people that demand when something is going to be ready or delivered.. With so many people and companies involved there is no way accurate delivery information can be provided.
The parts supplier for Jewel: He is dependent of the person that will set up the machine. Then you have the operator. Then the supplier for the raw matl's, Then the "wire" / tooling for the parts on and on and on...Most of these businesses are family owned and the owners must run the show...
Simple for a guy that just pulls a completed "trigger" in this case, to throws it in a box print a label and wait for UPS or other..
This is a not a hit on you LDS we just don't live in times where things run timely.. Not your fault sir!! Get used to it because its gonna get worse..
Edit: I've been looking for 22-250 brass since last year.. None to be found.. There has to be demand for this cartridge but the suppliers are not producing it..

I think they may need EDM work.
I would expect this is the case. This makes it difficult to find new vendors.

Job shops are not like they were 2 years ago... well, they all seem to be like the bad ones 2 years ago where delivery times are just a WAG, quality is non-existent, and you gotta ride herd on delivery acceptance cause things are likely not to print.

Everyone is having the same issues with equipment vendors and material suppliers. Best step is to bring it all in-house if you have the means.

Sir, I don't believe that would work for Larry or I.

Any time you sell a manufactured product, you will never have it 100% in house, because there is the problem of procuring raw materials. As long as the material flow doesnt stop all is well. Then you have to deal w/labor. There is always a bump in the road. If it was simple everyone would be in business. Mine is relatively simple, all I want to do is be YOUR JEWELL TRIGGER DEALER. LDS

Are you looking for a specific brand? I’ve seen plenty of it for sale.
