Are the A&b spring just different wire diameter?

In my recollection, yes. I'd have to go find the spare unused springs but I believe that's what I remember.

Alreary done, the dimensions at the top of the Mcmaster page and a fully dimensioned drawing if you scroll one tab over on the images in the listing. I don't know how much more clear this can be, there is no measuring needed.

Jewell Spring Specs:
Spring - Spr Dia -OD - ID - Length - Coils
A ---- 0.023 -- 0.087 -- 0.041-- 0.127 -- 4-5

B ---- None

C ---- 0.011 -- 0.090 -- 0.059 -- 0.125 -- 4-5

These are rough measurements, but should get you close to buying something.
