Jewell trigger from 700 to XP? Will it work?

I am working on a heavy varment rifle project, using an XP100 action.
I took a Jewell trigger that I had on a Remington 700 and installed it in the XP. I haven't tested
it yet. I did notice that the bolt extractor isn't going to work. Is there a fix for this or do I need a
trigger specific to the XP?

No problem at all with using that trigger in a XP..
I use them a lot and just don't use the bolt release that comes with the trigger when you buy them that way. I still use a small rod to push down the internal release, I doubt Jewell makes a bolt release for the XP-100's...

Jewell does make an Xp-100 trigger that has a bolt release. I've got one on a rear grip handgun. Works great. If Preacher says the 700 trigger will work , then I have no doubts that it will , just no bolt release.

If you call Jewell you can order the bolt release lever for the xp to replace the rem 700 style. I just ordered one my model seven yesterday for $10, I believe it is the same release for the xp. 525-353-2999 is their number.
