Jewell in a barnard

The Barnard trigger is excellent. I've never tried a Jewell in a Barnard action. I don't think I know anyone either, although that doesn't mean it's not done.

I wouldn't mess with the Barnard trigger it's excellent as is once you set your pull weight. And it can be setup as single or two stage.

The hanger is probably for the Remington clone "S" model, not the larger "P" action that comes with an excellent two stage trigger.

The Barnard hanger is for the model P. The big problem is the Jewell trigger is moved a half inch back from the position the Barnard trigger was in. That put my Jewell trigger against the back of my tirgger gard. If you are building a new gun this is not a problem, but with an old gun it's a problem.

My Barnard model "S" has a hanger and a Jewell BR. Works beautifuly. If you have another model, IMHO, stick with the Barnard trigger. Been there, done that.
