jewel trigger weight pull problem

I shoot a BAT MB 6mmdasher withe a Jewel. When I got the rifle 8 months ago the triggerwas a perfect 2 ounce. after about 1500 rds the trigger pul has increased to 6 ounces( measured with a scale a feels like a brick wall. What gives? Never had a powder spill, always use a mike lewis bore guide.
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks, for the tip. Can I flush the trigger with out removing the stock? Ie from the top-the bolt release port?
Tom
I wouldn't. Id either remove it or atleast remove the barreled action from the stock.

Tom: No, I remove the barrel-action from the stock or for my glue-in, I remove the trigger from the hanger.

Jewell says to do it with every barrel cleaning, but I think that's a bit much, so I do it every couple of hundred rounds, or when I have the feeling something is not "right".

Not saying this is your problem, but give it a try. Cost of lighter fluid is minimal & minimal time required.
