Jewel trigger safety removal

Is there a safe way to remove the safety off a jewel trigger? This is on a F TR rifle. Every now and then I inadvertently put it on safe while cycling the bolt. I want to remove the safety lever. Then squeeze and no bang !!! Annoying as as hell. Or do I need another trigger ?
Thanks again

Well, unless your trigger has been timed to your action, along with the resale value of a good Jewell trigger...I vote to replace it and sell your old one. No sense spending any time at all on removing it, IMHO.---Mike

I removed mine. No problem; just take it apart and remove the external safety lever, the rotating piece inside the plates, and put it back together. I also remove the bolt release at the same time.

Check out the Jewell instructions in the articles and you'll see how it's done.

Take a pic of safety lever & bell crank-
Remove the spring.
Swap it end for end.
Invert the spring.
Reinstall the spring.

The safety is now defeated & locked out.
