Jeff Godfrey New HG World Record Holder

It’s Official! Jeff Godfrey is the new 600 yard IBS HG aggregate record holder! April of this year at Piedmont gun Club Jeff fired a club measured HG AGGREGATE of 1.298. However the official measurement from the records committee came back a hair larger at 1.3001! The previous record was held by Gary Ben Peters with a 1.3359 aggregate which has stood since 19 April 2015.

Also of significance is on the same day Reggie Wilson shot a range measured 1.327 which came back from the records committee as a 1.333 (under the old record)!

In September Chris Nichols fired a range measured 1.297 which came back from the records committee as a 1.303! Way smaller then the previous record however not quite as small as Jeff’s!

Bottom line is all three of the Piedmont Boys broke the current record! However, when the dust settled the New HG record holder is MR. Jeff Godfrey With an impressive 1.3001!

Congratulations Jeff! That is quite an agg Feat! This was no fluke. Jeff has been shooting great for years, especially since I sold him that Polar HG several years ago. LOL. Jeff even made a his own joy stick front rest that is every bit as smooth as a SEB or Farley. Great job, my friend. Samuel Hall

CONGRATULATIONS my friend!!! VERY well deserved! Jeff has put many years into this and has worked as hard as anybody. He has been soooo close so many times and to finally pull it off i know its a proud moment. Guess i have to screw that barrel back on LOL!

The extra 40% of conditional distance, has proven havoc on dispersion linearity.
That extra distance more then doubles the ballistics needed, being the reason why.
