  • Trajectory

Trajectory Calculate a trajectory from bullet, velocity, firearm and atmospheric parameters. Explanation of terms
  • Calculations

Inputs include muzzle velocity, sight heights, chronograph distance, ballistic coefficient, drag function, line of sight and cant angles and atmospheric conditions. Output options include variable ranges and choice of units for windage and drop (inches, MOA, and mils). Calculations are performed assuming the bullet is a point mass.
  • Stability

Stability Calculate a stability factor for a bullet using the Miller stability formula. Output is red for unstable, yellow for marginal stability and green for stable. Explanation of terms
  • Card

Trajectory Card Calculate a trajectory card from bullet, velocity, firearm and atmospheric parameters. Density is calculated using input density altitudes. Muzzle velocity is found by using linear interpolation between two velocities measured as a fuction of temperature. Explanation of terms
  • Velocity

Ballistic Coefficient (Velocity) Calculate a ballistic coefficient from near velocity, far velocity and distance between velocity measurement points. Ballistic coefficient is calculated for input drag function. Explanation of terms

Well now. It appears there's a conspiracy for "ballistics" in the name as bisonballistics.com hasn't worked for a few days now. Interesting. And aliens are in Roswell, too.;)
ETA But the JBM site just opened fine on my Mac

If you’re doing it off your phone reboot it.
Always a problem trying to reboot a landline phone....LOL I did
reboot the desk top and nada. I just finished the disk clean up
and other maintainence and still nada. Just for the hell of it, I did
try Bison Ballistics and got a bad gateway error on their calculator.
No problem. I used the one George or Randy posted on another
site. Worked fine on the new bullet. Now I can get back to work.
I have some ordering to do......

Is there a way to accept a 'risk' and proceed?
Ublock uses lists of sites. It will give me the option to 'Proceed anyway'.
Firefox does the same on some sites also.

That said, I'm using Ublock and Firefox and am not getting any 'blocks' when going to JBM

I get the "ssl error" and "record too long" on my PC. But I can access it fine from my phone (Android).

Ok, so it was Malwarebytes (using Chrome).

I tried adding an exclusion for the website and still didn't like it. I looked up the 'error' and found the IP address. I put that in as an exclusion and it worked. I've had to do this with several websites after security updates are made to Win11. I don't know which end is at fault, but, I like having Malwarebytes on my machines so I live with the hurdles.

I also use Malwarebytes. I did not go the exclusion route since I
found another program to work with, however......Just typed in the
IP address that Malwarebytes shows in the exclusion box. Still a no
go. I dropped the last bunch of numbers and it's now working. I
think I see the problem. JBM's addy is 162.241.244.88. but Malware
is reading an extra :443 on the end of the IP when blocking the site.
And your right.....Just adding the website jbmballistics.com to the
list did not work.

I am having the same problem. I use Malwarebytes along with FireFox. I can clear the problem by adding https://www.jbmballistics.com to the "allow list" under "scan and detection". The problem starts again when I start my computer the next morning. I think a call to Malwarebytes is in order.
