Anyone tried one of these? I don't see a whole lot out there about them. They used to do Rem 597 barrels and they were well received. Looking at options for cheaper than lija barrels.

not yet. been messing around trying to get the factory barrel shooting. I ended up wasting the price of the new barrel trying to find something that will shoot.

I did a chamber cast of the barrel I have. It was WAY too long. So I took 0.017" off the chamber. (i have a lathe). Now it is shooting very well with Eley match rifle.

I am still going to get a barrel but for now I am going to shoot this a little more before I order a barrel. I don't think this is too bad for 50yds

Factory stock ? Pillar bed it.
Those are really good groups ,except the flyers. Might be good long gong ammo.
I have a certain lot # of ELey match,that shot like that at 50,but did better at 100-300 yds in a benchrest stocked Modacam Benchmark 3 grove and an chasiss Whidden meuller 8t, for NRL22......both $800 barrels. Both prefer Centerx for benchrest and NRL.

It has aluminum pillars from the factory. I think the dropped shots were me. They were both the 5th last shot.
