Jard Triggers

Anyone use them?

I'm considering buying one for my Tikka T1x .22 rimfire. My plan is to use this rifle in the new ARA factory benchrest class and would like a trigger lighter than the 1lb 4oz the factory trigger is at.

Thanks.

I have a few. When I want sub-pound triggers that's usually where I'll go first unless the gun is an Anschutz. Great triggers so far.

I have used them on quite a few rifles. They are the best Tikka trigger made in my opinion and excellent in the 700 as well. The 1.5lb single stage is what I like to use and have zero complaints.

That's good to read, I just bought a 40X in .22. If it's a shooter and I like the new trigger on my Tikka I'll order one for the 40X too.

Thanks guys, Justin

I have one on a Rem 700 its very good. Talked a friend into one for his Cooper. Safe would not work and I could see why. I called Jard they told it was impossible that they had a hole drilled incorrectly. Took that piece from the original Cooper, threw the piece from Jard away, it works fine. Did not like the lack of customer service they gave me and the attitude of we never make a mistake. I have not used them since. Not because of the bad part, that happens , but because of the conversation with them. They did not even ask me to send it back so they could see it, just said it was impossible.

Have you tried the Bixn Andy? I believe it’s available for the Tikkas.

I have a B&A in my Sako Quad and it is utterly world class and thoroughly adjustable.

I haven't. I have been so happy with the Jards that I haven't even looked at anything else.

I bought the Jard and have it installed but don't have much time with it, so far I like it. The trigger does require some modification to work on the T1X. Not really the trigger but the safety lever, it's too long and hits the bolt preventing cycling. I cut about 1/8" out of the lever and welded it back together and still had to put a bevel on the top of the arm.

Before.
