WANTED Jard, Canjar or Timney light Trigger for Sako A / L461 Vixen

Looking to upgrade my trigger on a Sako L461 Vixen. If you have a Jard or Canjar trigger lighter than 1.5 pound I could buy, that would be excellent.

I put a Timney #621 on another Vixen, and it only goes down to 1.5 pounds, and that would be okay if I can't find something lighter, like 9-11 ounces would be ideal. Heard Jard, Canjar or others used to be made for the A or L461, but I can't find anything.

I might have a Canjar set trigger that will work on a L461. I haven't seen it in a few years so give me a day or two to look around. I have four L461s including a solid bottom single shot wearing a Canjar and in set mode, it fires when you think about it. Just never got around to setting up the extra trigger on one of the other rifles and kept them stock.

Turns out I have two Canjars, but they are marked 579-1. One is quite a bit older (#17) and the other doesn't look like it has been used (#286). I was under the impression that while not directly interchangeable, the 579 trigger could be modified to work on the L461. The sear on the older one has a bevel on the rear surface and may have been used in a L461, but someone that knows more about Sako rifles would need to verify that. I haven't had time to try fitting either one to my rifle. The Timney website says their replacement trigger is "Compatible with "A" Actions - L461, L579, L61" so I am assuming it can be made to work. I'll post pics when I have an extra minute.

Thank your for the reply, those look promising. Let me contact a friend who I think has Canjar triggers on his Sako Vixens, and see if he knows more. I'll ask him to look at the photos and so on.
