Jackie Schmidt Wins Tomball Gun Club Shooter of The Year.

We had our final VFS Club Match at Tomball this morning, and Jackie Schmidt came in 2d place with a 250 21x to solidify his win for the Tomball Gun Club Shooter of The Year.

Over the season, we had three 100 yard matches and two 200 yard matches. A perfect score would be a 1250 125x.

Jackie’s score for the five Matches was a 1248 82x.
Ed Bernabeo was second with a 1240, 70x.

In today’s final, Mickey Krenick lead the field with a great 250 23x, and Ed Bernabeo was 3d with a 250 20x. Vic Smith also shot a “screamer Agg” with a 250 20x for 4th.

This completes our season at Tomball. We had great participation this year with tough competition.
Thanks to Richard Pullum for being Match Director, the Tomball Gun Club, and all of the shooters who helped Tomball have a great shooting season.

We have some great VFS shooters at Tomball with a very active Match program. Any one of our top shooters are capable of shooting 20+ X’s on any day.

As for our Range, we did a complete renovation 5 years ago, leveled it out and built the 28 foot tall Burm that we call “Mount Tomball”.
Tomball had 8 shooters represented at The Nationals, two scored Top 5’s in the yardages, one 3d place overall, and Mike wall was dominant in HBR.
