I wanted folks to be aware of the business practices of J.E.C. Customs, so that you can avoid getting ripped-off like I was.
I placed an order for a muzzle brake on 23 November 2015. After a month of not hearing anything, I called to check up on how things were going. The owner of the business, Jason Christian, answered and indicated he was backed up. He promised it would be ready "In about a month".
I called again in January, and was told that he was waiting on crush washers. There was a particular brand he likes, and they would be in "soon".
Called back in February, and he indicated they would be available "in about two weeks". Yeah.... two weeks.
I called back in March, and he indicated that he was waiting for a fresh batch to get back from another shop. Again, just two weeks, and they would be ready for shipping.
At this point I decided that I had waited long enough. I checked with VISA, and they indicated they only reverse charges for orders that have happened 3 months or less from the time of sale. I called Jason Christian back, and told him that I would like my money back. He hemmed and hawed, saying "But it'll be out soon! Don't you want the brake?". Finally he said he would refund my money.
That was mid-March, and I have seen neither a refund nor my muzzle brake.
This person has a habit of taking your money, and delivering very late. Sometimes never.
Don't take my word for it. Here is a thread over at Snipers Hide on the subject: http://www.scout.com/military/sniper...after-8-months
Here is the Better Business Bureau's report on him: http://www.bbb.org/fort-worth/busine...d-tx-235977688
There are a number of outstanding companies that produce a top-grade product, and deliver in a reasonable amount of time. I recommend you give them your hard earned dollar. J.E.C. Customs, and Jason Christian, is mostly interested in just taking your money.
