This is not a 6 BR but a 6 BRA. WITH THE 40 on the BRA, I believe it would be harder. Also for accuracy purposes I would not do it. I would start with new brass. MattA friend of mine reform his dasher bras to 6 br, no issues
This should of worked. Were they fired a bunch of times? Unless the BRX Had a smaller tighter chamber. Did you try annealing? Maybe your die didn't make them small enough at back end. MattI tried to take my fired 6br brass and form to brx they wouldn't chamber in brx, almost but couldn't close the bolt
If this reply was meant for me, thank you for the offer, very good of you. I have 100 used 6br brass from a barrel I don't use very much, so i'm going to use them. Again, thank you.It can be done with several steps and annealing processes. Of course the easiest way is to fire-form them with new cases new.
If you want to use your BRX brass due to a specific reason, it can be done with a little patience. If you want to go that route due to economics, send them to me and I'll do them for you at no charge.

The brass in my OP is 6brx and has been loaded 7 times, but as I say I have some 6br brass that is working OK. Thanks again.Yes, it is meant for you. Are they BR or BRX formed brass now? How many times have they been fired? I can form them back to BRA or back to BR and Hydro to BRA.
Your call.
