Is there any real reason not to seat a bullet on the Ogive?

We know it's not a good idea to seat a bullet so deep in a case as to cause excessive pressure.
However some cartridges such as the 6x45 will seat bullets that are not too deep in the case but have too high an ogive to fit into a magazine without seating the ogive slightly into the case mouth.

If the cartridge will feed reliably and there is enough neck tension to hold the bullet is there any real reason not to seat a bullet .025 of an inch past the ogive?

I posed this same question to Sierra bullets technical services and they stated that aside from aesthetics there is no reason not to.

Don't know about all rifles. I seat 110 gr HP in my 30 Carbine deeper, so they will fit in the mag. Looks a little odd, but they shoot and function just fine and shoot a lot better than those roundnose projectiles do.

I am the fan of bullet jump, I do not want my bullet starting from a dead stop while it is stuffed against the rifling, I favor the running start, because I am the fan of ‘time is a factor’.

I know it sounds cool, “Yes, I seat the bullet out against the rifling because I can, and it is a choice”, Me? I want the bullet past the forcing cone and down the barrel before it notices the reduction in diameter. time is a factor.
