Is Patriot Defense Armory a scam or legit?

Guys,
Ran across this site that has good prices and low shipping charges. Is this one legit or a scam? Looks like a scam to me.

I am always suspicious when they want me to pay using anything other than a credit card.

Patriot Defense Armory

Thanks

NO CREDIT CARD, RUN AWAY !!!
Even if they have credit card use, scam websites will grab your card information!
The Forum Boss has spent extensive time trying to warn everybody about scam sites!
Read his posts!!!
ONLY BUY FROM KNOWN VENDORS!!

None of the non-credit card processors permit the sales of weapons and munitions in their terms of serivce. Anyone using them is not legitimate.

Bison, do mean PayPal and such ?

OP post up a link if you want anyone to waste their time on this . . . .. . . .

enter a hundred (or more) of hard to find items (100 bricks of primers or 100 lbs of powder) and if they say they have them, they are a scam.

On one these sites. I had $27k of supplies in my cart .... kinda figured it was a scam.

Paypal, Amazon, Stripe, Cash App, Venmo, etc. None allow it. So anyone using it is almost certainly a scammer, because they will shut down legitimate businesses who try.

Thanks guys for looking. No doubt this is a fake site. If you use Paypal to check-out, they want you to pay with a "Friend and Family" option and send the money to their account. They do this b/c Paypal will not refund your money if you send to a family member.

I can tell you without a doubt that Patriot Defense Armory (PDA) is a "SCAM" and you need to stay away from the site or they will take your money!!!

3 days ago I ran across the site and they claimed to have some Aguila .22cal Super Colibri ammo that I was looking for everywhere so I took a chance and ordered a large quantity which they said they had. I do not use any Electronic pay services but my wife does (don't they all) so we used her VENMO to make the acquisition which was just over $200 for 1,000 rounds of .22cal Super Colibris.

Two days after I placed the order, and paid for it, I received a tracking number for a "DSX" shipping line which I had never heard of before, but that's OK as I am sure there are several other shippers out there that I have never used or know they exist. That message came to my Gmail account which was a good sign. That same afternoon I get a cryptic message from "the shipper" on a text (also another red-flag) telling me that they cannot send me the ammo unless I pay "insurance" on the package. I text "the Shipper" back and told him that I did not wish to pay for insurance on that shipment and that I would gladly sign a waiver for choosing not to. I decide to ask "the shipper" how much the "Insurance" would cost for two bricks of 500 rounds each of Aguila Super Colibri in .22cal. I was shocked when he said $200 which was essentially the same price as the ammo.

I texted "the shipper" and told him no way was I going to pay that and to cancel the order and refund my VENMO account. About 30 minutes later "the shipper" responds again via text and tells me that if I didn't pay the "insurance" they would not ship me the ammo. This time I emailed PDA and by this time not so much to my surprise they tell me that their involvement ended when they sent my order to "the shipper" and that my complaint is now with "the shipper".

Not surprised I sent several texts and emails to PDA and got nothing back. I was glad that I stopped the bleeding at jus $200 as the fraud could have been more. This outfit, as far as my experience goes, is a confection of crooks. I was not very happy with the VENMO response but I'll give them that is was mid-day Saturday and the beginning of the weekend at hand. We'll see what Monday says.

PDA reminds me of the old "Lost in Space" reruns when the robot speeds down a trail towards the spaceship flailing his hooked arms yelling "Danger Will Robinson...Danger"

Stay away from this site there's nothing good there for anyone.

My experience is pretty much the same as Micailona's. Paid one price for product, then get a text for another amount [ greater ] for shipping. That is when I pulled the plug. The thing that got me, was not that they would not accept credit cards, it was they advertised a decent discount if you used paypal or venmo. Yeah, I fell for it.

I got scammed as well.......should have known better when they said post it to "friends and family".
I alerted PayPal and asked them to ban Patriot Defense Armory from using their site, or at least warn
PayPal users that "friends and family" payments are not covered by PP's buyer protection plan and may
be used by scammers. Has anyone tried other ways to respond to these scammers?
