Hi Mike: Those are very nice. This is the best place to post them. Not many other places have folks with the knowledge and experience to know what they’re looking at. Good for you for finding new homes for them. They need to be passed on to people that will protect them into the future. They’re a piece of history.
I have a few, but this one is special to me. It was my father’s favorite Turkey gun. He gave it to me before he passed. 12 gauge, 30 inch barrels, full and full.
There is a thread about the “finest guns made” and people lean toward the English Companies. My father thought that Parker was the best. Made in America. Being a bit patriotic, like him, I agree.

I remember seeing those around a trap club when I was a kid. The big shots shot them and 4 and 5e ithacas, forgive the spelling, the common folk shot mod. 12s and 870s. Doug

That Parker is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. When I was growing up, Parkers and Fox were what the older guys used and I dreamed about having one of those wonderful old shotguns to hunt with.
Graceful lines, perfect balance and tight patterns were the hallmark of those shotguns.. Ended up with an 870... Finally, I was able to afford a couple of really nice over and under European shotguns.
