Is it low ES or low SD that giving minimal vertical??

HI
I'm trying to reduce vertical in some 6.5x55 loads for f class.
Lapua case
123 Scenar, 24 inch 1:8
Avg just under 3k fps
no turn neck
Tikka 695 master sporter fully floated and bedded.

using local made AR 2209- equiv to H414 or H 4350 or W 760.
Just trying to get on the board at 3,5 and 600 for an upcoming shoot.

I'm running out of time to get a load sorted before the comp on the 26 of Jan 2007- can someone suggest some other options.

I have S 140 HPBT and S 142 HPBT, L 139's and L 123's and some 143 grain FMJ-BT match projectiles with a kind of silver shinny coating on them.

I'm looking for something that doesn't embarris myself and I can get em on the boards.

Thanks-

later
P

If you are not trimming MePlats for uniformity, you might find it to be worthwhile. I had my fav load pretty well developed, but was having stringing problems at the longer distances. When I began doing that I really saw a difference; vertical stringing was pretty much eliminated. I've been using the Sinclair trimmer.
