Is a Stiller Viper SS and Panda F Class the same (barrel swap)?

I’ve read some say they are “close” but have not seen the specs to know for sure. Does anyone know where I can find the specs to know for sure?

I have a coned bolt Viper SS action and it has accepted Panda barrels but have not
tried one of my barrels on a Panda.

I suspect they can be interchanged if the bolt nose clearance is adequate.

The Viper has a 29 deg cone angle and the Panda has a 30 deg angle.

As I recall, the other tenon dimensions are identical---check this out as my memory
sometimes fails me.

I've seen tenon drawings from some earlier Vipers that weren't coned.

I figure someone on here will get you on track.

My Viper SS carries a serial # in the C2XX range-----does this make it C series also ?

There is a note on my print----"LEAVES 0.015 CLEARANCE TO BOLT. GUNSMITH MAY VARY
TO SUIT. APPLIES TO UNIVERSAL PPC/BR BOLTFACE ONIY"

This action dates back to the Jerry/Curtis days----I think its a very good action.

I'll try to screw of of my Viper barrels on friend's Panda.

Yes, mine is C1xx.

Stick lent me one of his viper barrels for a 1k match one time , 6.5x284 . Denny checked the go gauges on my panda f class and it passed . It didn't clock correctly, the info was up under the scope best I remember but I did shoot a match with it .

Any recollection on how it shot?
