Is 1.250" barrel to heavy?

Hi, I have a BAT model MB action ready for an F class project, is a 1.250", 32" long, straight profile barrel to heavy for this build? thanks,

i have a 29 in straight........it's front heavy and i'm afraid to leave it on the front rest and rear bag unattended when i have to have the muzzle low to be on target.

i really need to add weight to the back end.

Like sleepygator said. The stock Charles Ballard uses, is the Ballard F class stock. Check out www.precisionriflesales.com You can't ask for a nicer guy than Ray Bowman. He can Definitely help you out. I do think that the Ballard stock has a longer fore arm to help surpport the long tube you are wanting to use. As well the MB Bat is a strong action, and it will also surpport a heavy barrel like you speak of.
