Sloughhouse Benchrest Shooters held there second IR50/50 match of the year on Saturday March 16th,
and the 10 shooters who came out to shoot were greeted by some unusually mild conditions.
Temps in the upper 40's moving into the mid 60's by late morning. The big story was the wind,
or lack thereof at the start of the match. I can't recall ever seeing tails hanging straight down in the
Ione Triangle, I hope our 2 visitors from Reno don't think it's always like that!

We shot 2-3 card UNL List Aggregates, the first Agg reflecting the mild conditions with several 250's shot.
(Highly unusual for our little corner of the world.)
Tgt 1 was won by Craig Jackson with a 250-19x (high card of the match), Marcus Byrne was 2nd with a 250-15x, Pierre Bigras 3rd with 250-12x.
Tgt 2 was taken by Match Director Dan with a 250-18x, Francis Lee 2nd with a 250-14x, Brett Berger 3rd with a 249-14x
Tgt 3 was won by Brett Berger with a 250-15x, Dan 2nd with a 249-15x, Craig 3rd at 248-12x
Agg #1 Results:
1st: Dan Lutke 748-33x
2nd: Brett Berger 748-29x
3rd: Craig Jackson 746-32x

As we started the second 3-card Agg the breezes were starting to pick up and show a little more of the conditions that the Ione Triangle is famous for.
Still milder then we are used to, but certainly enough to get your attention!
Tgt 1 was won by crowd favorite Ron Chisick who beat out Dan on a FM tiebreaker both shooting 249-14x, Randy Kirkbride was 3rd with a 249-12x.
Tgt 2 was taken by Craig Jackson with a 250-10x (the only 250 of Agg 2), Dan 2nd with a 249-19x,
Randy 3rd at 248-8x.
Tgt 3 was won by Dan with a 249-13x, just edging out Francis with a 249-11x, Pierre 3rd at 248-14x.
Agg #2 Results:
1st: Dan Lutke 747-35x
2nd: Craig Jackson 746-28x
3rd: Ron Chisick 742-25x

The 6 Card combined Agg aka "The Money Match" pays the top 4.
1st: Dan Lutke 1495-68x
2nd: Craig Jackson 1492-60x
3rd: Pierre Bigras 1484-48x
4th: Marcus Byrne 1483-61x
I would like to thank all the participants who came out to enjoy a great day of shooting,
especially Craig & Dan for making the drive over the mountain to join us, Dan had gun trouble,
but we hope he gets it sorted out and will be back to enjoy the next match.
Thanks for everyones help in getting everything stowed away, and Dan for running the match,
and Greg for scoring duties.
Hope to see everyone next month, and bring a friend!
