Iosso or JB in a gas gun

Does anybody use Iosso or JB bore paste regularly, when they clean their autoloader’s (gas gun) bore? If so, do you take preventive measures to stop the grit from entering the gas hole/tube? Any tips would be appreciated!

I have used Iosso in AR's. I shoot a little brake cleaner in the gas tube and blow out with compressed air. Then 1 more patch down the bore.

I used jb and never worried about any up the gas port. Dont think you could get enough up there to hurt anything.

Like Walt says. I've stuffed a lot of JB and Iosso down my ar barrels. Never an issue. There's a lot of pressure at the gas port.

I used JB but don't worry about the gas tube. I have washed the carbon out though. If you're worried about it, squirt some brake cleaner in the gas tube, then some down the bore to flush it out.
If the red plastic tube from the brake cleaner comes off in the gas tube, plug the chamber with something and blow compressed air in the muzzle. The plastic tube will blow out.

I've had a jar of it and Iosso for years. I've only used them a handfull of times, but since I've gotten my Teslong, I realize my regular regimen isn't getting the job done. (Boretech C4 and Eliminator with brush).

Yeah. Tell me about it! Teslong maybe the biggest promoter of JB/Iosso.
