Please read this review of my recent testing on this scope and ask any questions you might have. This scope really turned me on to IOR.
Thanks.

id love to but that print is so small and fuzzy i cant read it...do you have another file with a bigger picture

2X that - too small for old eyes to read. It doesn't look like you checked for POI shift at differing power settings . . . except for not passing this test, my own 4-14 Valdada is exceptional. In fairness, one is not likely to opt for lower magnification at relatively long ranges. During 200 Yd. sessions, the POI shift, between 14 and 6x settings, for my particular Valdada: from the 14x ZERO, 6x groups are 1MOA low and nearly 1MOA left! :( RG

I did not specifically test for that. Although, while toggling through the magnification I didn't notice an obvious POI change.

Thanks for the feedback.

I am/was GUILTY of ASSuming that IOR mill reticle optics were ALL first-focal-plane scopes!
The scope in my possession is a 2nd focal-plane optic, which helps explain the shifting ZERO; however, a full MOA of shift is still more than double what I would expect from a high quality optic! :(

Until we began ranging/shooting out to 600 Yd., I did not pay attention to this feature :-[ . . . from now on, on 2FP scopes, I'll stick to MOA reticles, which provide finer (more incremental) hold-offs, and fast (intuitive) subtension calculations: ie.; 1 MOA @ 20x equals 2 MOA at 10x; equals 4 MOA @ 5x . . . or, anything in-between. Again, when I purchased this scope, I ASSumed that a mil-reticle would be a First-Focal-Plane (constant reticle substension, regardless of power selection) scope. Verify what you're buying before parting with your $$$. ;) RG
