The perfect day for those curious about metallic silhouette. Learn how to navigate a Metallic Silhouette match course of fire. Participants should arrive proficient with safe rifle-handling skills and an understanding of rifle scope adjustments.

Shooters new to silhouette matches will be paired with a participant that is well versed in the sport.
All you need to bring is a smallbore (22LR) scoped rifle and 2-3 boxes off ammunition. Ammunition will also be available for purchase...

The 2026 Intro to Silhouette event held at Cascade Shooting Facilities (Ravensdale, Washington) was a huge success. On Sunday, March 8th, roughly 30 people attended the event.

The weather was typical for the Pacific Northwest spring and everybody managed to have fun.

Some attendees were familiar with the course of fire, while about 17 other people had never participated in a silhouette match.

A huge thanks to the seasoned veterans that happily paired with first-timers, helping make sense of the cadence and course.

We'll look forward to next month, implementing more new features at our monthly smallbore silhouette matches with more new competitors!
